7A Girls Basketball
Coach Justin Ansel

2-21 - Comstock 21 - Marcellus 2

The girls came out on fire jumping out to a halftime lead of 19-2.  From there, we worked on a variety of things that kept the score down.  Desire Anderson led the Colts with 7 points.

2-19 - Comstock 24 - Bangor 20

The Colts handed Bangor their first loss of the season.  We handled their press pretty well and are still taking steps in the right direction on defense.  Desire Anderson led the Colts with 13 points.

2-13 - Comstock 33 - St. Monica 4

The amazing thing about tonight's game was that we had 9 players playing and ALL 9 girls got in the scoring column.  It was nice to see them working together to make that happen.

2-7 - Comstock 14 - Centreville 19

The girls played one of their best games tonight.  Things were starting to click a little more on defense which was great to see.  Sam Hui-Wee, Sabria Yarbrough and Maci Russell each had 4 points in the game.

2-5 - Comstock 14 - Bangor 26

The Colts did an amazing job tonight on defense  It was our first experience dealing with a press and they handled that well too.  Maci Russell led the Colts with 10 points and was an all out hustler all over the court.

2-1 - Comstock 37 - St. Monica 10

The Colts improved just a little bit more tonight on defense which was great to see.  After a somewhat close 1st quarter, the Colts opened things up.  Desire Anderson led the Colts with 24 points and Sabria Yarbrough chipped in 6.

1-31 - Comstock 39 - White Pigeon 15

The Colts had a good win vs White Pigeon.  Four of the six Colts got into the scoring column and all of them improved their man to man defense.  Desire Anderson led the Colts with 25 points and led us in rebounding.  Samantha Hui-Wee chipped in 6 points from the outside.

1-29 - Comstock 28 - Bloomingdale 3

It took a little bit for the Colts to get going tonight only leading 2-1 after the first quarter before they took off.  Great job girls.

1-24 - Comstock 30 - Lawrence 6

The Colts had their first game of the year and had a great start to the season winning 30-6.  All of the girls have a controlled aggressiveness to them that will help them along their journey in basketball.  Desire Anderson led the Colts with 19 points.
