 5-25 - BCS Conference Meet

The girl's team took 9th out of 15 teams as result of several athletes stepping up in their individual events. Leading the charge were Senior Sophia Kokolas with her 3rd place performance in the 100 hurdles with of time of 19.33, Sophomore Brianna Salome with a 3rd place finish in the Discus setting a new personal record of 86' 09", Sophomore Arreona Blakely placing 3rd in the shot put establishing a new personal record of 26' 10.5", and freshman Hannah Lee taking 3rd in the pole vault with her 2nd highest vault of 7' 3". A big shout out goes to the girl's team for rallying to put together a 4 x 800, despite not competing in this event all year and having a team consisting of two throwers, a sprinter, and a pole vaulter. Though this team of Brianna Salome, Justice Harwick, Naraei McPherson, and Hannah Le lagged significantly behind the rest of the field, their efforts were rewarded with a 3rd place finish in the Red Division when several other teams in the division decided not to field a team. Go Colts!!!

5-21 - MHSAA Regional

On the girl's side even though the team is twice as big as last year's team, the overall lack of depth really hurt the team at the Regional Level with girl's team taking 14th out of 16 teams. Nonetheless, the girl's team had two individuals as well as a relay team that earned Regional honors with their 7 place performances. In so doing, Senior Sophia Kokales established a new career personal record in the 100 Hurdles (18.74) and Freshman Hannah Lee broke her season personal record in the pole vault by one foot which resulted in her once again setting a new school record (7' 6"). The relay team consisting of Senior Jonae Allen, Freshman Nareai McPherson, Freshman Jamie Jefferies, and Sophomore Ahykla Blakely took home the final medals for the team.

5-16 - Comstock Invitational

On the girl's side, the team took 6th out of 8 Division III/IV teams that competed and 9th out of 11 schools that competed overall. In so doing the girl's scored 6th in both 400 & 800 relays while individually their were a couple of outstanding performances. One of which was Hannah Lee who took 4th in the pole vault with a new school record of 6' 6". The other was Brianna Salome who took 5th in the discus with a new P.R. of 88' 3".
