9-6 - Comstock 8 - Edwardsburg 60
Comstock appreciated the support of the cheerleading squad, and as always, from our great group of parents. In light of the loss our players showed signs of improvement and a couple of players really stood out for their play on the field. DaShawn McPherson led the team in tackles to include a tackle resulting in a safety. Offensively, Jalen Bower made a transition on the line from tackle to center and handled this well especially considering the amount of plays requiring a shotgun snap.
8-29 - Comstock 6 - South Haven 63
The players never gave up, had some success defensively, and drove the ball down the field on offense the second half. Devin Seaman and Dakota Black stood out for their tackling as well as blocking while playing fullback. We appreciate all of the parental support we've recieved and are looking ahead to Edwardsburg as we begin the school year.
8-22 - Comstock 0 - Three Rivers 53
The Colts did the three things I asked them which was stay positive, support one another, and never quit. Cal Ormanovich stood out for his enthusiasm and leadership at quarterback while Amountry Burnett had a couple of nice tackles defensively as well as a good catch while playing offense. Our Kick Return Team put together two nice returns totaling over 40 yards.
