4th-5th-6th Volleyball

Participation Fee is $30 (Cash, Check, or Online Payment) - Includes Jersey Top
Students that participate MUST be attending Comstock Public Schools.
Overview: This year, 4th and 5th graders will be playing youth volleyball, while 6th grade will now be considered a sponsored middle school team. The youth team league will be developmental and created to teach and emphasize fundamentals through practice and competition. Teams will consist of around 10 girls.
Coaches: We need parent volunteers to coach otherwise we won’t be able to run the 4th/5th grade season. The varsity volleyball coach will run a coaching clinic prior to the season starting for those that need the help.
4th/5th Grade Season: Each week will consist of 1-2 practices and 1 competition. Games days and times will be determined after school starts.
6th Grade Season: The season will start in mid-to-late August will be a Monday-Friday commitment. Additional information will be communicated by the athletic department (athletic director or coach) this summer. No payment is needed.
Practice/Competition Gear: Players should be prepared to bring/wear these items to practice/competition.
- Water Bottle
- Knee Pads (not necessary but useful)
- Proper workout attire
Week of August 24: Teams & Coaches will be determined. Coaches will contact parents this week.
Week of Sept 7th: Teams will begin practice and the program will run for about 7 weeks.
Payment (4th/5th Grade ONLY): Check, and cash can be mailed or dropped off at Comstock Elementary School during summer summer camp days and hours (Monday-Fridays, June 15-26 & July 6-24 from 8:15 am - 12:15 pm).
