Pat Ashby
CHS Teacher & Coach—1963-92
Pat Ashby was a physical education teacher and coach at Comstock High School for 29 years. Coach Ashby is recognized as one of the early leaders in women’s sports not only at Comstock, but in Southwest Michigan. She is also well known for her athletic accomplishments nationally. Her accomplishments, leadership, passion, competiveness, knowledge and work ethic surrounding her love of sports, coaching and teaching have earned her many recognitions and awards. Pat Ashby has been and continues to be a winner and a legend in women’s sports! She pioneered the way for many Comstock female athletes and women in Southwest Michigan and continues to spread her goodwill.
