3-5 - Comstock 19 - Galesburg 24
On Tuesday evening the 8th Grade Girls A Team lost their final game of the season to an undefeated Galesburg team by the score of 24-19. The Lady Colts put themselves in position to win but just couldn't get the shots to fall at the free throw line. The high scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk and Taylor Wells with 4 points each. Laken Groll, Miranda Cannon and Morgan Watson all had 3 points each and Selena Alvarado had 2.

3-2 - Comstock 20 - Vicksburg 35
The 8th Grade Girls A Team came in as Runner-up in their tournament this past Saturday. The Lady Colts won the first game against Delton by the score of 19-10. High scorers were Selena Alvarado with 7 points and Taylor Wells with 4. Miranda Cannon, Audrey Wells, Laken Groll and Marissa Vandyk all scored a basket as well. The team followed up in the Championship game with a loss to Vicksburg by the score of 35-20. After falling behind in the 1st quarter, the Lady Colts were unable to catch up. High scorers were Laken Groll with 6, Miranda Cannon with 5, Marissa Vandyk with 4, Audrey Douglas with 3, and Morgan Watson with 2.
2-21 - Comstock 13 - Linden Grove 45
The 8th Grade Girls A team lost a real tough game to a much larger Linden Grove team on Thursday by the score of 45-13. High scorers were Selena Alavarado and Melissa Vandyk with 4 points each. Morgan Watson and Audrey Douglas each scored a basket as well.
2-19 - Comstock 37 - Hillside 26
The Comstock 8th Grade Girls A Team won their 3rd game in a row on Tuesday evening against Hillside MS. The Colts took the lead early in the 1st quarter and never gave it up as they won 37-26. High scorers were Miranda Cannon with 10, Selena Alvarado with 8, Laken Groll with 6, Taylor Wells and Marissa VanDyk with 4, Morgan Watson with 3, and Audrey Douglas with 2. The team is now .500 for the season with just a few games to go.
2-18 - Comstock 24 - Portage West 16
The 8th Grade Girls A Team won their second game in a row by beating another Portage middle school. Comstock outplayed Portage West in all 4 quarters and won by the score of 24-16. High scorers in the game were Marissa VanDyk with 12, Selena Alvarado with 4, Miranda Cannon with 3. Taylor Wells, Laken Groll and Morgan Watson all scored a basket each.
2-14 - Comstock 29 - Portage Central 21
The 8th Grade Girls A team beat Portage Central by the score of 29-21. The team showed great defense in the 2nd half and came from behind for the runaway win. High scorers for the game were Marissa VanDyk and Miranda Cannon with 8 points each, Selena Alvarado with 6, and Laken Groll with 4.
2-12 - Comstock 26 - Mattawan 31
On Tuesday this week the 8th Grade Girls A team lost a close game at Mattawan by a score of 31-26. Comstock led most of the game but the shots just didn't fall in the 4th Quarter. Leading scorers were Miranda Cannon with 10, Marissa VanDyk with 8, Laken Groll with 6, and Selena Alvarado with 2.
2-8 - Comstock 17 - Milwood 23
The 8th Grade Girls A team lost a close game to Millwood MS on Frday by the score of 23-17. High scorers in the game were Selena Alvarado with 5, Miranda Cannon with 4, and 2 points each for Laken Groll, Courtney Warner, Marissa VanDyk, and Audrey Douglas.
2-7 - Comstock 20 - Vicksburg 35
The 8th Grade Girls A Team played Vicksburg MS on Thursday night and lost by a score of 35-20. High scorers in the game were Marissa Vandyk with 12, Morgan Watons with 4, and Taylor Wells and Miranda Cannon with 2 each.
2-5 - Comstock 30 - Maple St. Magnet 19
The 8th Grade Girls A team won their 1st game on Tuesday against Maple Hill Magnet by the score of 30-19. The scoring was spread across the team. High scorers were Miranda Cannon with 10, Laken Groll and Marissa VanDyk with 6 each, Selena Alvarado with 4, and Taylor Wells and Morgan Watson with 2 each. Defense was a focus for the whole team by holding their opponent to only 6 points in the 2nd half.
1-29 - Comstock 21 - Portage Northern 25
The 8th grade girls A team lost a very close, hard fought game to Portage Northern MS by the score of 25-21. Great defense and hustle kept the game close all the way to the last second. High scorers for the game were Laken Groll with 6, Marissa Vandyk with 5, and Selena Alvarado and Miranda Cannon with 4 points each.
