PK Shootout - Comstock 1 - Hopkins 3
The varsity boys soccer team ended their season last night fighting all the wayto the end. They finished the MHSAA district semi final regulation and OT vs Hopkins at a 0-0 tie to force the Penalty Kick Shootout. The defense was stellar last night being led by Mason Groll, Bryan Moore, Alee Holmes and Brad Clements. Kyle Moore was instrumental in taking away opportunities playing a defensive mid position. Ethan Barber, Uli Del Moral, Mubark Hasan, Garrett Green, Jacob Vreeman, Seth Ansel, Mason House and Jacob Wasyliw all played quality minutes to give us a chance to advance to the championship game but it just wasn't meant to be losing 3-1 in the shootout through 4 shots with Kyle Moore scoring the lone PK. These boys sure knew how to make this game exciting this year by scoring 3 goals with less than 6 seconds to go on the clock, another goal with 3 minutes to go to tie a game, 3 penalty kick shootouts and 9 of our games being decided by 1 goal. The season ending record being 9-9-1 is the 1st time in at least 8 years that the boys have finished at .500 or better. Congratulations.

8-26 - JV Scrimmage - Comstock 0 - Coldwater 8
