6-1 - MHSAA State Finals

We qualified two relays (4x100 & 4x200), as well as Antwan Johnson in the 100. Both relays PR’d with the 4x2 finishing 12th and the 4x1 making the podium by finishing 7th. Great season for the boys team!!!

5-21 - SW10 Conference Meet

Comstock finished 4th overall in the conference meet. Damarion Mccone took 4th in the 100. Antwan Johnson took 2nd in the 200. Teegan Hagenbuch took 3rd in the 400. Aiden Woods took 2nd in the 800. Titus Moore took 4th in the 110 hurdles. Fidel Ramos took 4th in the shot put and won the discus. The 4x800 team of Gabe Liedeke, Trey Kohler, Kamarea Johnson & Woods took 4th. The 4x400 team of Hagenbuch, Liedeke, K. Johnson & Woods took 5th. The 4x200 team of Kevin Owens, Mccone, Hagenbuch & A. Johnson took 1st. The 4x100 team of Owens, Mccone, Daquarius Mckinney & A. Johnson took 1st.

5-17 - MHSAA Regional at Bangor

Comstock had a very strong showing at the regional at Bangor with several state qualifiers. Antwan Johnson finished 4th in the 100 with a state qualifying time of 11.19. Fidel Ramos finished 5th in the discus. The 4x100 team of Kevin Owens, Damarion Mccone, Daquarius Mckinney & Johnson finished 3rd with a state qualifying time of 44.51. The 4x200 team of Owens, Mccone, Teegan Hagenbuch & Johnson finished 1st with a state qualifying time of 1:32.6.

5-13 - Comstock Invitational

Comstock had a great night and finished 2nd in our invitational. Antwan Johnson & Damarion Mccone – 1st & 2nd in the 100 respectively, Johnson also won the 200. Teegan Hagenbuch won the 400, Titus Moore – 3rd in the 110 hurdles, Fidel Ramos – 3rd in the shot put and won the discus, Brody Woolsey – 3rd in the pole vault. The 4x800 relay team of Trey Kohler, Gabe Liedeke, Vraj Patel & Aiden Woods finished 3rd. The 4x400 relay team of Hagenbuch, Kevin Owens, Kamarea Johnson & Woods finished 3rd. The 4x200 relay team of Hagenbuch, Owens, Mccone & A. Johnson finished 2nd. The 4x100 relay team of Owens, Mccone, Daquarius Mckinney & A. Johnson finished 1st.

5-8 - SW10 Comstock Meet

Comstock defeated Lawrence 108-13. Daquarius Mckinney – 2nd in the 100, Antwan Johnson & Damarion Mccone – 1st & 2nd in the 200 respectively, Teegan Hagenbuch & Kamarea Johnson – 2nd & 3rd in the 400 respectively, Aiden Woods – 2nd in the 800, Titus Moore & Jeylen Claxton – 2nd & 3rd in the 110 hurdles respectively, Moore – 3rd in the 300 hurdles, Fidel Ramos & Chris White – 2nd & 3rd in the shot put respectively, Ramos – 2nd in the discus, Kevin Owens & Mckinney – 1st & 2nd in the long jump respectively. Brayden Buck, Gabe Liedeke, Trey Kohler & Woods – 2nd in the 4x800 relay. Owens, Hagenbuch, Mccone & A. Johnson – 1st in the 4x200 relay. Owens, Mckinney, Mccone & A. Johnson – 1st in the 4x100 relay.

Comstock went 1&1 on the day, defeating Marcellus 97-35 but losing to Hartford 72-63. Antwan Johnson – 2nd in the 100& 200, Damarion Mccone – 3rd in the 100 & 200, Teegan Hagenbuch – 1st in the 400, Aiden Woods – 1st in the 800, Titus Moore – 1st in the 110 hurdles & 2nd in the 300 hurdles, Jaylen Claxton – 2nd in the 110 hurdles, Fidel Ramos – 2nd in the shot put & 3rd in the discus, Kevin Owens – 2nd in the long jump. Vraj Patel, Gabe Liedeke, Trey Kohler & Woods – 3rd in the 4x800 relay. Hagenbuch, Liedeke, Kamarea Johnson & Woods – 2nd in the 4x400 relay. Owens, Hagenbuch, Dale Weed & Mccone – 1st in the 4x200 relay. Owens, Daquarius Mckinney, Johnson & Mccone – 2nd in the 4x100 relay.

4-26 - Schoolcraft Invitational

A little short-handed due to illness, the team finished 5th out of 8 teams at the Schoolcraft invitational. Titus Moore finished 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Kevin Owens, Daquarius Mckinney, Kamarea Johnson & Damarion Mccone finished 2nd in the 4x100 relay. Owens, Teegan Hagenbuch, Dale Weed & Mccone won the 4x200 relay. Fidel Ramos finished 3rd in the discus.

4-24 - SW10 Bloomingdale Meet

The team defeated Decatur 112-7 but barely lost to Centreville 75-62. Damarion Mccone & Daquarius Mckinney finished 1st & 3rd in the 100, respectively. Mccone, Kevin Owens & Teegan Hagenbuch finished 1,2,3 in the 200, respectively. Hagenbuch & Aiden Woods finished 1,2 in the 400, respectively. Titus Moore finished 1st in the 110 hurdles and 3rd in the 300 hurdles. Mccone, Owens, Mckinney & Kamarea Johnson won the 4x100 relay, while the team of Moore, Dale Weed, Victor Algarelle & Fidel Ramos came in 2nd. Owens, Weed, Hagenbuch & Mccone won the 4x200 relay. Hagenbuch, Woods, Brody Woolsey & Johnson finished 3rd in the 4x400 relay. Gabe Liedeke, Woods, Vraj Patel & Trey Kohler finished 2nd in the 4x800 relay. Ramos won the Shot Put and finished 2nd in the Discus. Donovan Rankins finished 2nd in the High Jump and Owens finished 2nd in the long jump.

4-19 - Comstock Invitational

The team finished 4th out of 11 teams in our invitational. Damarion Mccone finished 3rd in the 200. Titus Moore finished 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Mccone, Kevin Owens, Daquarius Mckinney & Teegan Hagenbuch finished 3rd in the 4x100 relay. Mccone, Owens, Hagenbuch & Dale Weed finished 2nd in the 4x200 relay. Gabriel Liedeke, Aiden Woods, Kamarea Johnson & Hagenbuch finished 2nd in the 4x400 relay. Fidel Ramos finished 3rd in the discus.

4-17 - SW10 Bangor Quad

The team travelled to Bangor for a quad meet, defeating Bangor 74-58 & Bloomingdale 84-51 but losing to White Pigeon 92-45. Damarion Mccone won the 100 & finished 2nd in the 200. Kevin Owens finished 3rd in the 200 & the long jump. Teegan Hagenbuch finished 2nd in the 400. Aiden Woods finished 3rd in the 400. Titus Moore finished 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Jaylen Claxton finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles. Donovan Rankins finished 3rd in the high jump. Brody Woolsey finished 3rd in the pole vault. Mccone, Owens, Kamarea Johnson & Daquarius Mckinney won the 4x100 relay. Mccone, Hagenbuch, Johnson & Mckinney finished 2nd in the 4x200 relay. Hagenbuch, Gabriel Liedeke, Rankins & Woods finished 3rd in the 4x400 relay. Liedeke, Woods, Vraj Patel & Cris Ramos finished 2nd in the 4x800 relay.

4-13 - Hartford JV Invitational

The 9/10 grade boys finished 8th out of 13 teams at the Hartford 9/10 grade invitational. Teegan Hagenbuch finished 2nd in the 200. The 4x100 relay team of Hagenbuch, Daquarius Mckinney, Elijah Patterson & Cornelius Perkins finished 3rd. The 4x400 relay team of Hagenbuch, Gabriel Liedeke, Aiden Woods & Brody Woolsey finished 3rd. Donovan Rankins finished 3rd in the high jump. Woolsey finished 6th in the pole vault and Laquerion Wallace finished 6th in the long jump.

4-12 - Gull Lake Invitational

The team braved the cold & wind on Friday at the Gull Lake Invitational to finish 9th out of 15 teams. Damarion Mccone finished 3rd in the 200. The 4x100 team of Mccone, Kevin Owens, Kamarea Johnson & Daquarius Mckinney finished 4th. The 4x100 throwers relay team of Fidel Ramos, Jaylen Claxton, Dale Weed & Anton White finished 2nd. Johnson also finished 3rd in the pole vault and Owens finished 6th in the long jump.

4-8 - Comstock 104 - Maple Valley 44
4-8 - Comstock 48 - Hastings 109

The boys went 1-1 in the Hastings Tri, defeating Maple Valley 104-44 but falling to Hastings 109-48. Outstanding performers were: Kevin Owens, Daquarius Mckinney, Kamarea Johnson & Damarion Mccone in the 4x100 relay. Owens, Gabriel Liedeke, Aiden Woods & Teegan Hagenbuch in the 4x400 relay. Fidel Ramos & Anton White in the Shot Put & Discus. Johnson in the Pole Vault.

4-5 - Lakeview Invitational

The boys finished 6th at the Lakeview invitational Friday. Damarion McCone finished 3rd in the 200, while Teegan Haugenbach finished 5th. Haugenbach also finished 4th in the 400. The 4x100 relay team of Kevin Owens, Daquarius Mckinney, Kamarea Johnson & McCone finished 3rd, while the 4x800 team of Gabriel Liedeke, Vraj Patel, Aiden Woods & Brody Woolsey finished 6th. Fidel Ramos finished 3rd in the shot put, while Anton White finished 5th. Johnson finished 3rd in the pole vault, while Dale Weed finished 4th. Overall, an outstanding start to the season for our Colts.
