7th Grade A Team

2-19 - Comstock 27 - Hillside 20

7th grade girls basketball played against Hillside last night beatingthem 27-20. Scoring for the colts, Ahkyla Blakely 13, Kaylee Gilley 8, Kierra Lovelace 6, Ciannah Lyerla 2. Summer Lapekas worked hard on both ends of the floor. Brianna Salome and Elize Moreno rebounded really well. Keep up the good work ladies.

2-18 - Comstock 27 - Portage West 20

The 7th grade girls traveled to Portage West Middle School to beat the Pioneers 27-20. Kierra Lovelace hit some great outside shots to score 6 points. Triste Thrash defended her player really well. Go colts!

2-14 - Comstock 34 - Portage Central 32

The lady Colts 7th grade girls basketball team played at Portage Central Thursday afternoon beating them 34-32. Kaylee Gilley was the high scorer with 11 points included one 3 pointer. Ahkyla Blakely and Kierra Lovelace both contributed 10 points. Brianna Salome continues to improve along with Triste Thrash and Elize Moereno.

2-12 - Comstock 29 - Mattawan 27

The 7th grade Lady Colts improve their record to 3-2 last night battling a close win against Mattawan 29-27. Several girls scored; adding the the 29 points. Ahkyla Blakey had 13points, Kaylee Gilley with 10 points, Ciannah Lyerla scored 4 points and Celine McCausland added 2 points.  Keep up the good work, ladies!

2-8 - Comstock 33 - Milwood 13

The 7th grade girls beat Milwood Middle School 33-13. Summer Lapekas did a great job being the safety on our full court press. Several girls scored for the colts including Ciannah Lyerla, Ahkyla Blakely, Kierra Lovelace, Kaylee Gilley, and Elize' Moreno. Go Colts!

2-7 - Comstock 16 - Vicksburg 33

The 7th grade girls basketball team hosted the Vicksburg Bulldogs Thursday afternoon in their home opener. The Colts worked very hard on both ends of the court coming up just short of a win. Scoring for the Colts were, Ciannah Lyerla, Ahkyla Blakely, Kierra Lovelace and Kaylee Gilley. Brianna Salome continues to sharpen her game; snagging quite a few rebounds. 

2-5 - Comstock 43 - Maple St. 32

Comstock 7th grade girls basketball traveled to Maple Street Magnet Middle School where they won 43-32. Ahkyla Blakely scored an amazing 29 points while still managing to find her open teammates for baskets. Triste Thrash played aggressive defense while Kaylee Gilley managed to out rebound everyone. Way to go girls!

1-29 - Comstock 18 - Portage North 33

The 7th grade girls opened up their season against Portage North. The girls fought hard but couldn't overcome the tight defense given by the huskies and lost 33-18. Kierra Lovelace and Ahkyla Blakely were the high scorers with 8 and 6 points.
